Archana Prasad est une artiste dont le travail est à la jonction de l’art visuel, de la technologie et du street art, intégrant les méthodologies du design et de la recherche.
Ces dix dernières années, Archana s’est engagée activement dans les pratiques artistiques communautaires. Elle est Directrice Fondatrice de Jaaga, une communauté urbaine,
Elle débute avec le projet artistique « Standing on Fish » en 2004 où elle initie le public au street art pour ré echir à l’urbanisation de la ville de Bangalore et aux moyens de connecter les citadins à leur ville au moyen de pratiques culturelles.
Outre son travail de dessins et de peinture à l’atelier, elle explore le monde de l’art au moyen de différents prismes. Elle a collaboré avec un des premiers collectifs d’art expérimental de Bangalore – Lounge Piranha et Bobbleheads – en créant des performances vidéo dans l’espace public. Elle a collaboré dans plus de 50 événements dans de nombreuses villes en Inde. En outre, elle a lancé un docu-performance expérimental – CitySignals
