Au service de la transition énergétique vers une économie plus sobre en carbone et en ressources, CDC Climat investit dans des projets, notamment dans le champ de l’efficacité énergétique, et développe des activités de conseil et de recherche.

Au sein de la Caisse des Dépôts, Jean-Pierre Sicard, a mis en place la fonction de veille stratégique du Groupe, de 1998 à 2001. Il a ensuite créé Novethic, centre d’information et de recherche sur l’ISR (Investissement Socialement Responsable) et la RSE, dont il est le Président. Il a été Directeur du développement durable de la Caisse des Dépôts de 2004 à 2009. Auparavant, il a fondé et dirigé une société de production audiovisuelle.

Jean-Pierre Sicard est également président de l’association 2° Investing Initiative, qui promeut la prise en compte, par les investisseurs et le cadre réglementaire associé, des contraintes climatiques et des besoins de financement à long terme.
